ALC 2019 UNConference—Huntington Beach, CA
Networking, participant led discussions of what matters most to you.

Washington, D.C. — The Association of Language Companies (ALC) will be hosting its annual UNConference from January 17–19, 2019, at the Paséa Hotel & Spa, 21080 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach, CA 92648.

Immediately preceding the UNConference, ALC will also be hosting a 4-hour Advocacy Forum on Thursday, January 17, 2019, from 1 pm to 5 pm, to discuss the impending worker reclassification issue facing our industry and nation. This panel will be moderated by Rick Antezana (ALC president) and Dr. Bill Rivers (JNCL) and will include Laura Curtis (CA Chamber); Luke Wake, Esq. (NFIB); and Ian Adams, Esq. (R Street Institute). The panel and experts will also be fielding questions from the audience.

Jennifer Alvarez-Marquardt, one of the UNConference organizers stated “I am beyond excited for this year’s UNConference! The organizing committee is pushing the envelope in terms of content and providing our members with time to network and discuss issues that we, as language service company (LSC) executives, face on a daily basis. The Paséa Hotel is gorgeous and is directly across the street from the world famous Huntington State Beach, so there are plenty of activities for our members. Where else can you surf before your morning session and not miss a moment of the conference?”

Whether you are a first-time ALC event attendee or a longtime member, this is a unique opportunity to kick off the year with likeminded colleagues who share your passion for this business. Come to the UNConference to learn, share, and network with fellow industry leaders to strategize solutions for shared concerns.
