The ALC Represents You
Our goals are to build awareness of the industry in the trade and general media, raise the credibility and integrity of language companies and educate the public on the benefits of working with professional language companies.
Collaboration with Peers
ALC members attend regional luncheons and our annual conference. Between meetings you can address issues on our Members Only website and at our CEO Roundtable luncheons held in various cities across the country. You'll also receive valuable information in our electronic quarterly newsletter. A new Membership Benefits Committee is developing additional benefit programs. The ALC offers you the opportunity to participate in a true collaboration of ideas among experienced professionals.
Getting Involved

Members Only Website Section
As a member of the ALC you have access to the Members Only section which contains various forums, the latest Industry Survey, the latest Industry Report and other useful tools.
Industry Survey
Want to get an idea of revenue breakdown per service item, profitability, percentage of companies with facilities clearance and other key industry survey data? The Industry Survey is conducted annually and distributed to all members.
Membership Dues
Dues are prorated by month. For a full year the rates are as follows:
- Active (language companies in the US), $525
- Affiliate (language companies outside the US), $290
- Industry Partners (firms that sell to language companies) , $790

Announcement To all ALC Members!
Would you like to support your association and the language services industry? Here's your opportunity. You may contribute to the ALC's Benefactor Fund to help ensure the ALC's future. Contributors who submit their donations on an annual basis will receive special recognition on the ALC's website and at the annual conference. This fund will be allocated to the various ALC committees at the board's discretion.
The new Benefactor Fund will offer three contribution levels:
- Bronze, $250;
- Silver, $500;
- Gold, $1,000.
